Our Groovy Annual Fundraiser!
The Savage Support 2019 annual fundraiser was a blast to the past on Sunday, May 19 th . The celebration was held at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery with Cream City Swing dancing in Sock Hop style all afternoon, rain and shine! The talented instructors Caitlin and BJ donated their time along with nearly 20 volunteers to lead the crowd through swing dance steps in a fun and relaxed style. A cherry of the day was a true Shim Sham performance and DJ Brian for the playing excellent tunes. Special thanks to Bryan Douglas of CCS and the entire team at Best Place for coordinating and contributing immensely to a successful day.
Over 40 businesses and persons donated to the auction helping raise funds through one of a kind experiences, products or services. From a Bucks autographed basketball, salon visits, Gilbert Brown official memorabilia, a cup of coffee and lunch, to tickets for Brewers games – the bases were covered. The Board members created crock pots of 50’s inspired fare with Tall Guy & a Grill reliving the times with a cheesy fondue. Kate Shorr of K Vintners donated cases of liquid courage (wine!) with unwavering support from the very start.
2020’s annual event marks 5 years of practical aid to those experiencing breast cancer. You bet your boots we’ll be having another party!
You can still donate to our cause and ensure we are able to continue to support our beneficiaries beyond their breast cancer treatment here:
We would like to thank all of the vendors that donated items to the silent auction. Without your support and donations, this event would not be possible.
Special thanks goes to:
